Kiveri
a small town in the Peloponnese....

Kiveri is located in the north-eastern Peloponnese, between Argos (it was from here that the Trojan expedition set off) and Nafplio, the former Greek capital and the most beautiful Greek city. Kiveri is a small coastal town.

There are no typical hotel buildings here. There are other attractions - the typical tiny Greek family-run taverns, filled not only with the aroma of moussaka, but the ever-present Greek music. There are dance performances and Greek music concerts organised on the beach.

The tiny harbour with its fishing boats creates a familiar, friendly atmosphere for a holiday.

There are 6 taverns and 1 restaurant in Kiveri. Here you can enjoy typical Greek cuisine for little money - souvlaki, chicken in lemon sauce, Greek salad, lamb ribs, moussaka and seafood.

The beach at Kiveri is covered with fine pebbles, it has umbrellas and showers. Sun loungers - aluminium sunbeds - are available for your use. There are 4 drink bars by the beach. Here, on hot days, you can enjoy a coffee or a typical ouzo with snacks.

Kiveri is a base for a number of sites that are considered the pearls of ancient Greek culture. Among others, just 2 km away lies LERNA, NAFPLIO (15 km), MYCENAE (17 km), EPIDAUROS (50 km), NEMEA (30 km), CORINTH with the famous Corinthian Isthmus apartments  in Greece (approx. 60 km), MISTRA, SPARTA, OLIMPIA and many wonderful places that are not mentioned in guidebooks and that only locals know about.
